Please join us for Union County's second Greater Idaho meeting of the year. The meeting is being held on Wednesday, June 11th at 9 am at the Joseph Building Annex Conference room in La Grande. This is your opportunity to ask commissioners to advocate with legislators to move either of the Greater Idaho bills in the Oregon Legislature forward. Rep. Levy is a co-sponsor of the House legislation asking for creation of a task-force, while Sen. Nash has signed on to a letter asking the Senate Rules Committee to have a hearing for SJM7, which is a memorial that would invite Idaho to begin border talks. Union County commissioners can help advocate by reaching out to these legislators or by encouraging the Eastern Oregon Counties Association to put out a statement in support of legislative action.

Representatives from our movement will be present to update the commissioners on everything that's happening with Greater Idaho.
